Here at Get Fulmer Back.com we are introducing the Fulmer vs. Kiffin Tracker. We will update it each week to show Lane Kiffin's coaching performance against Phillip Fulmer's coaching performance. Feel free to add the widget to your site also.
Looking at the tracker thus far there is a stark difference between the two coaches. However, I think it comes down to these 2 things:
1. Fulmer's head coaching record is almost 75% for his career. Lane Kiffin's head coaching record is 25% for his career.
2. Lane Kiffin wasn't good enough for the Raiders, but he is good enough for the University of Tennessee?

Kiffin wasn't my first choice (I was hoping for Kyle Whittingham), but Lane still might do well.
I do think that the game had passed Fulmer by, and I don't think he ever would have gotten another championship for UT, so a change was necessary, IMO. I'm just hoping that UT has the right guy now. If Kiffin doesn't work out, then I hope that Mike "give me your money" Hamilton gets the boot.

I'm definitely for giving Kiffin a chance. I started work on this site before they made an announcement to hire Kiffin, because I didn't think it was a good decision to fire Fulmer. I still think Fulmer would do a better job, but I would be overjoyed if I were wrong. If Kiffin doesn't work out, then hopefully we can get Fulmer back.

I mean hey, give 'em a chance. I will miss Fulmer a lot, but maybe in 17 years Kiffin will have a 152-52 record. You NEVER know!

I hope you are right about the Kiffin having a better record part (not the retarded part ;-) ). In all fairness I did put in Fulmer's NFL head coaching record of 0-0.

Get over it, Fulmer is gone and he's not coming back. If Kiffin doesn't work out, we'll find someone else, but no real fan can stand another year of going nowhere fast.

Which is it, 0-0 equals 100% or 0-0 equals 0%? I don't have any problem with the comparisons, but subtle things do sway opinions of those that don't think for themselves to well.
